About these terms

These terms govern your use of pvtreeservice.com. The terms of any actual tree work are set out in the separate written per-job agreement we provide before work begins, which takes precedence over anything on this website.

Website content

We try to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete or error-free. Content on this site is general information about tree care and is not a substitute for an on-site evaluation of your specific trees and property.

Estimates

Estimates are free and carry no obligation. An estimate is valid for the scope of work described in it. Significant changes in scope, or conditions that could not reasonably be seen during the site visit (for example internal decay discovered once work begins, or buried obstructions), may require a revised price, which we will discuss with you before continuing.

Scheduling and weather

Tree work is weather dependent. High wind, ice, lightning, and unsafe ground conditions can require rescheduling. We will give you as much notice as we can. Emergency and storm work is prioritized by hazard level, which may affect scheduled non-urgent jobs.

Property access and preparation

You are responsible for ensuring we have safe access to the work area, for identifying property boundaries, and for telling us about buried utilities, septic systems, wells, irrigation, invisible fencing, and similar hidden features. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked underground features.

Permits and authority

You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to have the trees removed or worked on, including trees near property lines or in the public right-of-way. Public shade trees in the road right-of-way are subject to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 87 and require Tree Warden approval.

Insurance

PV Tree Service, LLC is fully insured. Certificates of insurance are available on request.

Intellectual property

Content, photographs, and the logo on this site are the property of PV Tree Service, LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of this website is limited. Liability relating to actual work performed is governed by the written job agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
